Jingle bells. Silent nights. Hohoho.

Well, weiliang ain't around to help us organize christmas party,

so i'm helping this time, and pulled nat, the other ct rep, into it as well.

Ok this is what we've come up with so far.

Venue: The Glady house (although she's agreed to it, she's gonna be so angry with me for this, for it sounds very much like the brady bunch.)

Date: 27th December.
This is to accommodate weiliang's release from camp.

Presents will be pot luck like last year. budget also about 10-20 bucks? credit crunch people.
Dinner, as always. So i need people to bring food. Pot luck again.

So, please reply me ASAP so that i can see the kind of delightful treats you plan to bring along. Gladys is providing drinks, typical. (she will fry me alive, but very worth it)

Messaging me would be better. When you message, tell me
1. food you're bringing.
2. suggestions for entertainment?

*entertainment, just watch a movie, can le la. mahjong, anyone?

ok yeah, so keep that date free, will update when i've gotten everyone's responses. a lot of people are overseas now, so might have to wait. so far i know that only tis and johnson won't be in singapore for it. anyone else, please inform as well.

hope your hols have been fun and eventful thus far.

at such an unearthly hour,
colin

05ip04's Rooms

Hello (: While Weiliang is preparing for his enlistment, I came across Eamonn McCabe - Writers' Rooms online! And if you are too lazy to click on the link, it's basically a project that features a series of photographs that illustrate "the working environments of novelists, biographers and poets". Somehow, I got interested in your working environments! (: Like, aren't you interested to see Kien's gargantuan room in Vietnam? Or Lou's clutter that resulted in the invasion of her brother's room as well? Or frisbees adorning Johnson's wall? Or something? Hence, I propose the following project (that disguises the selfish intention of satisfying my curiosity):

05ip04's Rooms!

Eh. Basically, please send a picture of your room to me! It will eventually end up in a slideshow that is probably accompanied with horribly catchy music like Hot N' Cold or something! (:
  • If you don't have a room, a picture of your desk is fine! (:
  • If you don't have a desk, uhh... Decide something!
  • If you don't have a camera, there's alternatives like webcam, handphone cameras and whatnot! And if worse come to worst, you can use Paint! (:
  • If you want to draw our attention to specific parts of your room/desk, please feel free to add captions or annotations!

Right. Honestly, I have never made a video or slideshow. However, it shouldn't be that hard! Also, I don't trust myself to do summary-of-four-years-together videos! But this is different! (: And I'm really excited about it! Haha! Of course, I understand if you are unwilling to send in a picture because of privacy issues or the presence of questionable articles. But. If you can, please, please send in a picture to justitiae_soror_fides@hotmail.com! (:

If possible, I would like to finish this by the end of the year! By then, even Lou, Tis and other lucky-long-holiday people should be back! So, if you don't hear from me by then, it would mean that the project has failed. Oh well (: Thank you for reading up to here! Also, good luck to all the guys who are going to the army! Please do not throw yourself onto a grenade or something! (:

Love,
Jade

P.S. I feel like some conman trying to get you to join some dubious lucky draw!

SO FAR

And yet another update.
Hello people, I have 14 names for one room.
Anyway, here's the thing - whatever you guys do, PLEASE do not make noise. i.e. - no cards, no mad drinking or poker stripping. Rooms are for resting and I dont want us disturbing other guests. 14 people in 1 room is obscene and we might get chased out.

If i calculate correctly, with mr teo's subsidy, everyone pays about $12.
so please bring about $12. I will be checking in at about 2pm.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DONT COME AT 2PM AT THE SAME TIME. I'm sure the hotel management will be like 0.o... so please, come at different times. Will sms all on saturday yeah?

love
mel

(note: MR TEO WILLING TO SPONSOR $100 BUCKS FOR US!!! THAT MEANS $180 now!)

we're checking in Fairmont hotel, 1st dec, 2 pm!

kick mel's ass!

READ WEILIANG'S POST BELOW BEFORE READING MINE IN CASE YOU GET MISCONCEPTION. thanks!!! (:

--

okay, i know some people are going to kick me in the ass, but i have booked the hotel room about 2 weeks ago and i cannot NOT cancel it. and because I did not consult others, i do not expect EVERYONE TO BE GOING/PAYING.

i'm trying to see if my parents can sponsor us.. like "hey mom, make this my christmas present. $250 only"). The room that I got was a deluxe room, quite big, and its about $280, when its original was about $300 plus. (CHECK PICTURE HERE [2nd picture]) OR, BETTER IDEA. GET KIEN TO SPONSOR :DDDD

i know there are cheaper rooms at fairmont/swiss, but the reason why my parents got the more ex ones was cos of size (we need bigger rooms) and the lack of availability of the cheaper priced rooms. (peak peroid) PLUS, the discount!!!

when tis and i were collaborating about booking the rooms, i was kinda telling her that it won't be merely used for sleeping. for the girls especially.. you might consider checking in at about 2pm together and then doing the make-up etc. basically, the room is for you to dump your stuff, prepare and also be used as an emergency room. (e.g1: if you need to take a dump and you walk into the public toilet with like 123908123 other NJ people. + e.g2: some nehneh ... *inserts name*... goes drunk postprom and needs to be carried back)

i actually asked my parents if they could book hotel81. im sure you can get $10 an hour. BUT it will be kinda far.. like geylang? (uh... they were obviously not too happy. although my dad was like "actually, not bad idea") . PLUS, they made a good point about transport. If say we stay in town till about 12.30am, how are we going to go the hotel if its like somewhere else?

love,
meltee

p.s: sorry if i kinda did something without consulting the class

p.p.s: because i know half of us wont be blowing $3283901823 on prom, this is a website you may consider using for prom ideas. ITS THE US VERSION, not the SINGAPORE VERSION. so doublecoolness. (CLICK CLICK CLICK)

p.p.p.s: but i think my parents maybe nice and just cut the price for us to be about $180. $180 divide by like 15 people? I dont know man. My math sucks.

suggestion on post prom activities

hey guys, first of all, let us rejoice that A levels are really coming to an end and perhaps there are even some of us who have finished the exams. Anyway im posting this entry for quite a crucial matter after the exams.

Well to start, first of all lets all acknowledge that after prom night, many of us wanna hang out together and you know, perhaps spend the night as a class. Mel has actually booked a room to faciliate such interactions within our class. however, this hotel room which is booked cost approximately 250 bucks a night and it will definitely not be able to fit our entire class. hence mel tee suggested that there should be 2 rooms booked so that everyone can be housed and also the risk of getting chased out due to overly large sizes by the hotel personnel will be lower. BUT! guess what... this means that a total of about 500 bucks will be spent on ONE NIGHT! and its like 25 bucks per person assuming that 20 people were to turn up. (20 is already quite a generous estimate). to be honest 250 for a night is already considered very cheap for a hotel room especially with the high hotel prices for the past few years and furthermore the super peak period during the school hols. HENCE im sure many people will not be willing to spend this 25 bucks on a SINGLE night as it is definitely very costly! right Gladys? *winks winks*

so here was my suggestion, i initially asked lou to help us check if the national service resort and country club (NSRCC) would be vacant for us to stay in because it MAY be cheaper then hotels in town area. and INDEED it was cheaper at like 240 plus per nite which will be able to hold all of us too! BUT guess what again... we are required to book it for at least 2 nights... so that works out to be again 500 BUCKS! and like 25 bucks person again... and also thats assuming we can even get a chalet. HENCE im sure many people will not be .... *cut and paste from above* right Gladys? *winks winks* Heehee

so finally im already at my wits end, and doing my last mission as your OH SO LOVELY CT-rep, i have thought of a suggestion! why not just stay at someone's house which is big enough and whose parents' won't mind our presence. (our presence is surely and undoubtedly unmistakable with rani and SEOW AH! around us.) perhaps someone could volunteer their home soon?

*please do your part for charity! take these homeless kids into your house and embrace them with all the love you can spare. we are such a lovable bunch of ip kids*

on a more serious note, yeah so any of you who can loan the house for free, please do inform ok? thanks! inform thru class blog or thru hp also can.

and lastly, who wanna go out on 19th of november? (seems like everyone has finished their exams already right? HAHA!) alright anybody up for a class outing before prom night? just feel free to post your views on having one. *yes rani i know you want one real bad, hence i know your response even before asking*

Yours Dearly,
OH SO LOVELY CT-rep

uplifting song

hey guys, i just felt so compelled to share this.

how's your studying for a levels coming along? not too good? well, that day i was reading a physics text, trying to concentrate. and then some china scholar neighbours, very nice they are, blasted this song from their room, for a couple of minutes.

one attempted to sing along.

here are the lyrics, i hope you can truly relate to it and have your own hannah montana experience, wherever you are.

Everybody makes mistakes...
Everybody has those days...
Everybody knows what, what I'm talkin' 'bout...
Everybody gets that way....
blahblahblahIf I'm not doin' too well (clap clap clap)
Why be so hard on my self?????????????!!

Nobody's Perfect!I gotta work it!Again and again till I get it right!Nobody's Perfect! You live and you learn it!And if I mess it up sometime!Nobody's PERFECT!!!!!!
:):):)<333

the song doesn't even make sense, but i googled the image results for this song. below, i present some relevant findings. once again, i hope you're truly inspired by this song to study hard, somehow. if you need sense knocked into you, i'm sure mer will do so, albeit a bit violently. peace.

details for teachers' day

hey guys, for tomorrow's teachers' day celebrations there are quite a few matters to be answered here.

1. you must report in PE attire tmr for school as we are starting with aces' day workout.

2. you are allowed to wear anything after the workout, however, mr teo suggested that we wear something uniform so he suggested an adidas theme. BUT due to the unforeseen circumstances, many people do not have adidas related apparels so we will have to do without it. i was thinking, why not guys turn up in pink, purple or gay looking coloured tops, while girls wear more dull colours (LIKE A MAN!) anyway that is only my suggestion. i suppose its too hard to finalize anything at this moment because its kinda late and people probably have different senses of dressing so there will be people with certain colours and others don't. however if it does happen that everyone is wearing the proposed colours for guys and girls tomorrow, that would indicate your obedience towards your "oh so mighty" ct-rep.

3. for tomorrow's lunch outing, as it is going to be quite a large number of people going for the outing, we need a big enough place to hold about 15 people. so yeah seoul garden's one of the only ones where i can has space for us. regarding the price matter (yes gladys im doing this for your sake ONLY because you are the ONLY one who has pointed out that seoul garden is too ex) there has been some issues on those who are financially tight like gladys, Pei Wen, Chen Pei Wen, gladys tan and gladys tan pei wen so yeah as you see that there are quite a number of people who have objected to seoul garden's high prices, i suppose we will just have to STICK WITH SEOUL GARDEN! HAHA!! so yeah lunch will be at about 12.30 or anytime that the students' lunch begins. please do sms me again even if you have done so previously if you are going so that i can book for tomorrow as i anticipate a crowd tomorrow.

Thank you all for listening to my announcement for this is your "oh so mighty" ct rep. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

its prelims, but you gotta check this out

yeah, when you're taking a break, surfing blogs and stuff, and you end up here:
http://politics.sgforums.com/forums/1390/topics/326361
you wonder whether you're meet this kind of people in real life.

Dear all, I'm an army wife and my husband is a SAF regular army officer.

One of the many primary reasons I married my husband is because of his dashing uniform. We were fixed up by someone we knew mutually and had many email conversations over a month before we met. He sent me a picture of him in his no.4 uniform and immediately, I fell in love with the way he looks in it (i didn't say i fell for him immediately). I felt myself swooning.

When we began dating, he invited me once to a parade in his camp and when I saw him in person in his no.4 uniform, I was sure and told myself I will make this man my husband. The whole get-up made my knees weak. On our wedding, he wore his no.1.

Anyway, I was horrified to find out that SAF was going to change the no. 4 uniform. What was worse is that the new uniform is unspeakably ugly. It looks like pyjamas and the camo print is hideous. The colours are gross too, with a lot of brown, very weird, looks like crap. The colors of the current one are perfect and manly. And the camo print of this current one is perfect too. The cut, lapels, badges, collar, cutting are perfect.

LOLOLOLOL. so i guess.... the uniforms the guys are gonna wear next year are gonna be ... gross?

Recreating the IP1 Dance Party Experience

hello people!

i just reached home and i have this sudden urge to blog about national day because well, its really fresh in my mind. i don't know whether its the prelims or because its our last year, but we were really high. like REALLY. the last time we were this high was like what? IP1 dance party. i mean, like jolynn puts it "really don't care. loose face la. nobody will remember us"

highlights of today
(so when i read the archives 10 years down the road, i'll figure "hey, that was good ol' times)

1) attacking gladys with bubbles
( pretty ironic because gladys + bubbles go well, or so i believe)

2) making zhirong answer the NE question!
(like we always do)

3) being the 1st class to stand up during the national song because its oh-so-boring
(which spurred the others to stand)

4) going onto the podium/stage and uh... trying to protray school/national spirit
( yes, jolynn, wilbert and i made a fool out of ourselves. like 3 of us went up, and the councillors stopped the rest. stood on the black stage for like 30 sec. then later, *WOAH* entire IP went up to the flagpole area... i wonder how come nobody like did anything stupid)

5) singing the last national day song with actions and making mr teo do it with us.
( seriously lol.)

6) trying to recreate our IP1 picture.
(we need to do that again. in same position with noob hair and noob specs. it'll be fun)

7) kien singing the national day song!!!!!

8) realizing that colin was missing halfway.
i heard someone say this
"eh, where's colin?"
"he overslept la"
"wahlao. he will enjoy this"

Do you remember National Day as this fun/high? I mean, for the last 2 years, I've just been sitting around and stoning and complaining how lame it was. But what the heck. ITS THE LAST YEAR. The next event is... teachers day? Will anything happen? What the heck,

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

your most beloved ct-rep

Hello (: I was looking through geog trip pictures (to find an unglam shot of Jo the pok so that I can get back at her for consistently posting super unglam shots of me) and discovered this picture! (: Oh! Also, Shi Hui has a picture of Colin actually grinning on her facebook!

Class Photos

And I was feeling a little nostalgic so I dug out our old class photos and scanned them! Had the "prophetic intution" that one day, I eventually will either misplace them or spill coke on them or something. So here are those that I have! (:

IP ONE. Not commenting on anyone lest it inspires backlash. Oh. Sorry lou, the bad quality of the scans makes you look like a pirate! Purely unintentional, I swear.

When there were twenty-six! (: On a side note, my scanner makes this "about-to-be-castrated" sound when it scans stuff. It's extremely disturbing!

IP TWO.
I never did receive the photos that I ordered. Our "most beloved CT-rep" offered to photocopy the pictures for me. Ha. Ha. Ha. Anyway, I would really like to have the pictures! (: So if anyone is willing to scan them in (after the A' levels) or maybe lend them to me, it will be greatly appreciated! (:

IP THREE. Whenever I look at this photo, I start laughing like mad at Sam! (: Don't you?

Isolated Gladys is smirking at her book.

Anyway, congrats to Yi Hoong and Nat for eating their first chicken cutlet in four years! (: Haha! Alright. Shan't bother you no more.

GOOD LUCK (STUDYING) FOR THE PRELIMS! (:

Love,
Jade

the videos

okay, sometimes you wonder what on earth your friends ( like tis and colin) are talking about when they say something along the lines of charlie... candy moutain... and kidney. so you decide to youtube it.

guess what? its lame ass (i.e seriously. damn. bad .video) to watch. appeals to our sadistic nature. somewhat. ugh. so yeah.

name of cip centre

i was googling it and yups. for all those who need it, the centres we volunteered at this year is

Presbyterian Community Services Jurong East/ Bukit Batok (:

sam.

anti-climax

sorry to bring up the topic of updating your CAAL portfolio whilst everyone is posting happy/disturbing posts. (referring to joel's beautiful hair post)

I was talking to Mdm Khoo Bee Chan today (the one in charge of scholarship applications) and I clarified with her regarding how much we need to "reflect" on every single thing we had done in school /: basically, she told me (and gave me the permission to spread the word around) that the reflections are not going to be published in your leaving cert/portfolio/whereever, thus it is not that impt. So please don't tear your hair apart if you can't force yourself to squeeze out 2000words (: yups. According to Mdm Khoo, reflections are only important if you decide to put the achievement in your leaving cert (:

Hope that helps and you guys can get more sleep because of it! (:

sam.

ps: zhirong. pls stop acting gay in front of me. it's really traumatising /:

wild adventure (where everyone's happy)!

SPLASH! <33

c'mon people, it's happy time. if you still ain't loosening up, why don't you just try imagine zhirong topless under that big big faucet. don't that just give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

so c'mon 04, let's quit the yellin' and cut each other some slack. remember, it's only okay to make a splash if you're not wetting someone else's socks. chill out!

such an irony...

just when i mentioned that our class blog was the most happening amongst the ip level. Haha! guys... i think we would be quite a joke to our people if they were to chance upon our blog and see those stuff about CIP.

come on! i think we can definitely have more interesting stuff to blog about rather than just the CIP saga. SOOOOO.... Well done Joel for that short comic relief. hope we can have more of that in time to come!

Yours dearly,

(who am i kidding, prelims =DD). anyway, lets appreciate the finer things in life, like dancing around in circles, caterwauling and singing away. and affirm one another in this period of time when we need one another the most!

here's a photo i took in 2006, when my hair was beautiful like a girl's and i was/AM handsome. my hair's still nice, btw.

cheers, damsels and gentlemen. joel out.

Mel's right but I feel like someone's got to defend clar. clar has nothing to apologize for. She was harsh but she said what really happened and it wasn't mean. She wasn't trying to push responsibility, wasn't deliberately trying to make a fuss. She was just worried that if mr teo asks to see the Jurong cip records, there would be none. And she would get the blame, which has happened before. So please try to understand that mr teo has been harsh on her for this whole cip thing, and she was voicing her unhappiness because the class seems half-hearted about the class cip,not just because someone didn't want to get the records.

And to the anoynymous 'bystander', I thought you sounded mean with the "dearly beloved" and "it's really funny..."if you want to say these things please say who you are. And I feel that it is not clar's obligation as a rep to do everything personally herself. She has already done her duty by assigning the job of getting the records to someone.

Not to point fingers but I feel like some people in class do not take ownership of the cip even though it is class cip. I'm not clar so I wouldn't know how she feels. But I think this is part of the reason why she was annoyed. Like since the person(s) clar asked didn't want to get the records, it makes clar feel like people in class don't even care about their own hours. The issue here is not so much whether our not the jurong records are needed(sorry gladys), but 04's general attitude to cip. There was a time when clar asked some people in class to do things for cip and the things were not done on time. I don't think clar herself minded this much, she would have just given them more time. But mr teo blames her for these things when she did already assign them to people. you may say that it is her job to ensure the things were done on time, but i feel like there shouldn't be a need for a pressurizing class cip experience where clar has to constantly make sure that people do the things they were asked to do. I don't think anyone wants that...we want to enjoy class cip as much as possible. AND we have been a class for nearly 4 years so I think clar trusted us to do things we were asked to do without her chasing us.

Sorry to bring up all these old touchy issues. I just feel like if I do, people will understand clar's position more. To gladys and those hurt, I really hope you'll understand that clar was not deliberately to hurt anyone. She just needed to voice her unhappiness about our attitude to cip and this records thing was the most convenient example. please don't take it as a personal attack. And the thing about mr teo blaming clar when things are not done is not imaginary, I can vouch for it because i have seen and heard the way he talks to her. Because of class cip, he thinks clar is a "l (i don't need to say it because we all heard it in class) leader". I don't think this would have happened if we were more cooperative with clar. clar shouldn't have to take a "strong-leadership" approach in managing class cip when we have been a class for nearly 4 years.

I know we're all busy so this time i don't think its anyone's fault. But imagine yourself in clar's position. When you ask someone more than once to get the records and they don't want to, you feel like you're very alone in this whole cip thing. I think whoever was asked thought that clar would ask someone else, but to clar the person's refusing to go, even though heshe stays nearest to the centre, was not an encouraging sign that others who live even further from the centre would agree to go. And the fact that the person says they can't go and don't try to ask other jurong people after the 2nd time being asked makes clar think that people don't care about their records. I know its not heshe's responsibility to ask others but since this is class cip, maybe we take more ownership of it. Not blaming you, cos if i was asked and couldn't go i wouldn't think to ask others either.

Calamity on Class Blog!

CHILLAX WILL YA?

Can everyone stop being angst-y because I personally feel that we're making a mountain out of a molehill. I mean, yeah, opinions stated, stuff said. Let's keep it that way. I don't see why we need to keep tagging and putting up posts about this issue.

I know we want to justify our actions, and that there maybe people in the wrong, but let's face it, its getting a tad bit childish? Let's stop it. We're 18, not 14 or 13. There has been about 5 posts, more than 15 tags about this issue and I think its enough.

This is a class blog. I don't see a reason why we should use this as a medium to judge people's actions. In fact, I don't see a reason why we have to keep harping on this issue. I know there are angry parties out there, but I think we have to deal with this as professionally as possible. In other words, do this face to face. Not this way. So no more online anonymity, personal attacks and all that.

When Darius and I created this blog, our 1st blog post was something like IP 04 Rocks/Keep up the class spirit/04 OEI! (click link if you don't believe me) I know I'm some lameass peacemaker, but I really believe there is no need for such harsh opinions or criticisms on an online portal. In fact, there is no need for people to become over emotional over our CIP.

(Hello, CIP?!?!?! Its like secondary! Brotherhood comes first?) Come on, we have spent 3 1/2 years together. There is only like less than 100 days to A levels, and about 5 more months before we go our different ways. And now, we're arguing over something small like CIP. A bit silly right?

Please stop it before it becomes some nuclear bomb.

in favor of peace,
mel.
Dearly beloved clar,

It's really funny how you capitalise 'someone' and then say it wasn't directed at anyone. Clearly, you're pissed off. Anyway, two points to make.

Firstly, convenience aside. You're the CIP rep and there's nothing arguable about that. Being appointed, you are definitely more obligated then anyone of us, assuming it is not inconvenient for you. You can't simply say you "really don't care" just because someone else fails to do a job you're more responsible for. Note: I'm not saying that it is compulsory for you but rather that you're more obliged to as compared to the rest of us.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure we all know inconvenient it is. Therefore, I don't think anyone in class would blame you for such an issue. But the fact that you're asked a favour from SOMEONE, got refused and then became pissed (a very obvious emotion that screamed itself to me while I read your post) made me feel unjustified for that SOMEONE. I don't think that "nobody wants or cares about their records" but rather, it is simply as inconvenient for them as well. As much as you can and wish to accomplish in your one and a half hour, they similarly can and wish to do as much in their half and hour.

yours truly,
bystander

so what we're saying is that it's not that we don't appreciate what you're doing, but when you make such a huge commotion over this and say that you 'already tried your best to get it but you really can't', we don't see how that criteria was accomplished.

this is how i see it.

if i happened to be the cip rep, and it wasnt convenient for me to get it, i'll (like you) request someone else to help me do it. but if they (unable or unwilling) cant make it, i will be rather irritated with the situation but i would still go down to get it myself, seeing that i am the cip rep so it's my responsibility to do so.

clar, im not going against you but i just want you to know that this is how a few of us perceive this issue.

The CIP/CCA thing is under Student Centre> My Profile> View Details> CAAL

And there is no need to create a new CIP form because the CIP thing is under Class Home Adoption Programme.
Gee. I guess it wasn't very obvious but let me clarify something. Whatever I said wasn't pointed at anyone, nor was it meant to hurt anyone. I was just trying to give an example and that was the most convenient one. So if you feel hurt, SORRY. I am NOT pissed off at a specific person, contrary to popular belief so stop saying I am. The truth is when the 2 people whom i asked to go get the records said no, i didn't have very much feeling because i guess if nobody wants or cares about their records then why should i tear my hair out trying to think of ways to go down to get it? I did not blame anyone. I just said that there will be no records for the jurong people because there is no way to get the records because no one can (or is willing to) go down. Or at least that is what I was trying to get across.

I was just trying to do things systematically and trying to get the records so all those who actually did a lot of hours will be duly awarded the hours. But I guess I shouldn't have done the right thing. I should just have forgotten about everything and then just tell you all to write whatever you want. Yeah. And I guess I was wrong in trying to be considerate too because it seems as if you guys don't really want your hours very much. I should have just said that there are no records and thus, no one has any hours. Right. I also find it really funny how one group of people at the bukit batok centre can conscientiously clock their times while the other cannot. The most funny thing is how I'm trying to get it for the very people who are not very grateful.

So forget the chop and forget the hours. Just pretend I didn't say anything, ok?

from the other CIP rep

OK. Yes clar, you are angry. We know. No one is going to ask you if you are because you have obviously shown your wrath.
However, there was NO NEED to upset everyone and hurt people in the process. I hate to have to use your way to do this but i really have to get this off my chest because it's making everyone unhappy.

Let me address a few issues.

1. Recording of CIP hours clocked in.
For the Jurong people, there was confusion because different groups of people went down each week. As a result,no proper records were kept. However, each of us should have a rough idea of how many hours we went down for. To be honest, that one.. it's our individual responsibility. NO one is that hard up four hours. NO ONE is going to cheat on the hours. Therefore guys, just key in what you can remember onto KM first.
What actually is REQUIRED is a CIP feedback form stamped and signed by the centre. The person in contact with the centre, means our CIP rep, clar, is responsible in obtaining it from the person. EVEN IF the princpal is too busy, she can fax it over to the school. If for some reason they don't even have a fax machine, come on, i think Mr Teo or who ever is going to verify our hours will understand that since it is so last minute, and all of us are sitting in our prelims in 3 weeks, worse come to worse don't get signiture. WORSE COME TO WORSE FORFEIT OUR HOURS.

2. The difference between half and hour and one and a half hours.
NOT MUCH. Honestly. Mr/ Miss half and hour said it was inconvenient. I think it was a valid excuse since he/her is really NOT responsible to do that. In addition, this is the period of remedials, extra lessons and low morales. I would think that you clar, didn't want to go down too because it was one and a half hours away and yes, VERY INCONVENIENT. We don't blame you for thinking that way too but wouldn't Mr/Miss half and hour feel indignant about being blamed for not DOING YOU A FAVOUR. To be honest, the form could have been signed on the last day of our painting since we knew that it was obviously going to be the last time. THAT ASIDE, NO ONE WILL BLAME YOUR FOR NOT GOING DOWN but the fact that you blamed another person.. is just upsetting since IT IS your responsibility. I'm sure that if you had tried and had not been able to get us our hours, all of us at jurong centre WOULD HAVE WILLLING FORFEITED OUR HOURS.

3. Screwing up CIP.
Honestly guys, our CIP is screwed and that is no one's fault. It's a combination of factors topped of by the fact that we are in our J2 YEAR!!! Mr Teo has never been angry that we have screwed up our CIP but more because there are periods of time whereby things get left untouched and no one inititiates a thing. ( correct me if I'm wrong). Even the last time round he got angry was because NO ONE was listening to clar when she spoke. That is quite different guys so clar, you don't have to feel stressed that Mr Teo blames your for our CIP screw ups because from my impression, it has never happened. I don't know where you go the idea from.

I am being very honest here because i, like many others feel upset and indignant for Mr/Miss half and hour.

Gladys
Ok, I was not trying to coerce anyone into going to get the records.

Don't ask me if I'm angry because I obviously am. Why do I care so much about YOUR records when YOU don't even care about it yourselves? Anyway, the whole matter is settled, sort of. The Jurong people didn't even record their hours down anyway, even when I gave them a list to, so there is no need to go collect the non existent records. There is no need for a chop from the centre because Mr Teo can verify that we HAVE been doing CIP (this is according to the 05ip05 people i asked). Besides, YOU have to get YOUR own chop if you want your CIP hours "proved" (although there is no need to), and not blame me that YOU didn't get the chop as it is not my responsibility to get the chop for YOU.

So the Jurong people, just key in as many hours as you want, I trust that you will be responsible and honest people.

Hi, here are the cip records for the bukit batok centre people.

YiHoong-16
Jade-13
Meltee-13
Sam-6
Jolynn-9
Shaodan-11
Johnson-6
Tony-2.5
Kien-2.5
Joanna-2.5
Nat-2.5
yingting-2.5

If your name is not here, you have no records. For the Jurong people, sorry your records are not here. SOMEONE thought it was (I quote,) "inconvenient" to go down to retrieve the records because he lives half an hour away, although it is not inconvenient for me to go get it, because i only live ONE AND A HALF hours away. Whatever, it is your records, i really don't care because i've already tried my best to get it but i really can't.

If I could choose to be CIP rep again, I would NEVER DO IT. You guys have no idea how hard it is to make things work with people who don't even cooperate, and then I'm the one who gets grilled because things were not done.

Whatever.
